Appalachian Experience - Mabry Mill

As we headed south to North Carolina we passed over the Blue Ridge trail and we visited Maybry Mill. This turned out to be a real Appalachian experience with bluegrass music, Appalachian dancing, and a picturesque mill. We also noted that those hanging out at the mill were a cross section of mountain life. It was fascinating.
