Sheldon and Dakota in West Virginia

Sheldon and Anita's home is just a short drive from Uncle Nelson's home.  Anita was gone at a women's retreat with their church, so Sheldon and his son Dakota were at home holding down the fort.  They took us to a little restaurant in Moorefield and we enjoyed some great conversation and West Virginia cooking.  The rest of the evening was spent playing ping pong and Acquire (board game) while snacking on goodies.

For the relatives on the west coast, this is the same game of Acquire that we often play at family gatherings.  Also, if you plan to visit Sheldon's place, be prepared to lose at ping pong.  These guys are in a different league.  Another reason to visit Sheldon would be to see his log cabin style house.  It was great fun to tour the house and to hear all the stories about it.  I'm sorry to say that I didn't get any pictures of the house.  Must be a guy thing.  :)
