Even with an impending hurricane, all the relatives came on over to Don and Betty's house for dinner. This was an amazing evening as everybody brought food and we had a great time around the table. I was fortunate to sit by Uncle Howard at the dinner table and we had a nice little chat. After dinner, it seemed like all the women gathered in the kitchen while all the men gathered in the living room. Oddly enough, our discussions were not about the hurricane, but about family and memories. Don and Betty were masterful hosts, spurring on discussions that were encouraging and uplifting. We felt very welcomed and loved by the family members.
