Florida - Paul, Jeanie, and Brian

We finally made it to Florida!

When we arrived in Pensacola, Jeanie was still on a flight from San Diego, so we spent the evening with Paul.  Paul made us a great chicken / salad dinner, complete with and ice cream dessert.  When we received the call that Jeanie had arrived, we all went to the airport to pick her up.  Of course, this meant another ice cream dessert, complete with hand-made magic shell (thanks to Jamie for the recipe).

After a great night sleep, we set our sites on Destin, where we met Brian.  Brian is in the restaurant business and is doing great at Carrabas.  Brian treated us to lunch there and told us all about the business...include everything about everything on the menu.  Brian is really exciteed about this work and it was great to see him talk about his career pursuits.  I'm sure he will own a restaurant chain one of these days.

Then...we went over to the condo, took a walk on the beach, and drove around the resort.  This really a good investment and vacation for Paul and Jeanie.  This was really a great day, and Yvonne actually got to put her feet in the gulf.
