Savannah...after the hurricane

What were we thinking?  We decided to go into Savannah, even though a lot of the residents had not returned yet.  I think we were 2 of about 20 tourists in the whole city.  We did the river walk and ate (by ourselves) at Joe's Crab Shack.  We drove around to all the little park squares and saw the place where the park bench scene was filmed for Forrest Gump.  We saw a side of Savannah that most tourists do not see.  For many residents of the city, the impact of the hurricane was severe and our prayers are with these people.
